What is Mindelusions??
Mindelusions, Inc. is a growing design and development company based out of Las Vegas, Nevada. We design, develop, deploy, scale, and maintain user-centric web applications geared specifically towards the individual needs of our clients and their users. Creating customized web solutions which are compatible, accessible, and foremost standards based, allows us to focus heavily on the scalability and forward compatiblity of our applications.
It is our application-driven approach that differentiates us from the stereotypical design company. Because we are programmers first, everything we do - from information architecture to site development - is beautiful in its design, elegant in its simplicity, and powerful at its core.
How do you say that??
People often ask us, "How do you say your name?", or "Is that 'mind-elusions' or 'min-delusions'?", and even "What is an 'elusion'?". Whatever the question, the answer is often simply, "Yes.", accompanied with a smile and a polite nod. While this answer was sufficient for some time, recently it seems to be lacking the information people require. So, let us clarify a bit.
The name Mindelusions was created by the company's Principal and Lead Developer, Anthony Decena. The name is combined from the words 'mind' and 'delusions'. While a 'delusion' is usually defined as a false belief, in psychiatry, which is where the 'mind' plays a larger role, the definition implies that the belief is pathalogical and described as a loss of touch with reality where one may experience hallucinations and misperceptions. See now, we missed the 60's, and believe that first hand knowledge of the above is completely beyond scope, but what we do know is that in this delusional state, where reality has completely taken flight, great web applications are born.
